Recent updates
Nov 26 | Updated to add in Cyber Monday deals
Cyber Monday is still giving us a whole host of bike computer deals. I've found offers on previous generations as you might expect but also some decent discounts on the current models too.
Cyber Monday normally throws up a few options on existing models and this year we have the Hammerhead Karoo 2 head unit, Wahoo's V2 Elemnt Roam and Bolt and the Garmin Edge 1040 all discounted - with the Karoo 2 the standout of those deals.
If you're unsure of the right bike computer for you can find our full page on all the best bike computers we've tested and reviewed over here. You can also check our Best Cyber Monday bike deals hub page for more tech reductions. Otherwise, here are our best US and UK Cyber Monday deals to date...
Best US cycling computer deals
- Garmin: Save big on bike computers and smartwatches
- Wahoo: Reductions on Elemnt Bolt and Roam V2 computers
- Backcountry: 25% off Hammerhead Karoo 2
Hammerhead Karoo 2: was $399.00, now $298.99 at Backcountry
The Karoo 2 is a truly excellent bike computer with a uniquely simple and straightforward interface - and with 25% discount it's really competitive with other units from Garmin and Wahoo.
Wahoo Elemnt Roam V2: was $399.99, now $319.99 at Wahoo
As the name suggests, the latest Roam is designed for navigation, with a 2.7" color screen and dual-band GPS technology on board to deliver great mapping and a reliable service. That said it has plenty of training features too, including TrainerRoad, TrainingPeaks, and Today’s Plan all integrated into the device.
Garmin Edge 1040: was $599.99, now $549.99 at Garmin
Considering this is Garmin's current range-topper, a $50 discount isn't bad. The headliners here are the large 3.5" touchscreen, the impressive 70 hour battery life (in saver mode), the multi-band GNSS and the wealth of training insights that allow you to monitor your health and your performance on the bike.
Garmin Edge 830: was $399.99, now $279.99 at Amazon
The Edge 830 has been updated in the form of 840 but it's still a great unit - and with over $100 off it's even more attractive. It has a 2.6" touchscreen, Garmin cycle maps and plenty of performance and training features. Battery life is impressive, something we discovered when we reviewed the Garmin Edge 830 on its release.
Price check: $399 at Backcountry
Garmin Edge 530: was $299.99 now $229.99 at Walmart
Although Amazon's sale has the edge on a raft of products, Walmart has come out swinging with this discount on the Garmin Edge 530 - currently the best price we could find
Yes, it's been supplanted in the Edge hierarchy by the newer 540 but it still has loads of great features, from easy-to-use mapping to a not unsubstantial 12-hour battery life. When coupled with a $50 saving it starts to look like a really good deal - we were certainly impressed when we reviewed the Garmin Edge 530 on its release.
Price check: Amazon $269.99 | Competitive Cyclist $299.99
Garmin Edge 1030 Plus cycle computer: was $399.99 now $319.99 at Amazon
Garmin's Edge 1030 Plus is designed for those who require a large touchscreen - whether its using it as GPS unit, with easy to follow maps, or as training aid, where you can view lots of data at once, the 3.5" screen makes it a breeze.
With the release of the 1040, the 1030 has dropped a rung in Garmin's Edge line-up, many which feature in our guide to the the best bike computers. It's still's a feature-packed unit though, and is now available at a reasonable discount ahead of this year's Cyber Monday. The price has recently dropped again, and it now has 20% off retail.
Price check: Walmart $397.99
Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt V2: was $279.99, now $229.99 at Wahoo
Currently this $50 discount is the lowest price we can find, but given this is the the latest version of the Bolt, it's not perhaps not surprising.
A compact unit, it's battery life is a claimed 15 hours while it's also Strava Live enabled and comes loaded with 15 country maps.
Price check: Amazon: $249.99 | Mike's Bikes $279.99
UK deals
Best UK cycling computer deals
- Garmin: Reductions on Edge computers
- Wahoo: £50 off Elemnt Roam V2 cycling computer
- Wiggle: Big savings on Garmin products
Wahoo Elemnt Roam V2: was £349.99, now £299.99 at Wahoo
The updated Roam expands on the previous model, making it even better for navigation. It boasts a 2.7" color screen and dual-band GPS technology to deliver great mapping and a reliable service even when your off the beaten track. Training features include TrainerRoad, TrainingPeaks, and Today’s Plan all integrated into the device.
Wahoo Elemnt Bolt V2: was £249.99, now £199.99 at Wahoo
Given it's the latest model a £50 reduction represents a good deal - as does a sleek and efficient cycling computer for under £200. The updated Bolt has better functionality that the previous model, with improvements in the buttons and the battery life. If you're after a more aero-friendly computer, the V2 Bolt is a good place to start.
Garmin Edge 530: was £219.99, now £189.99 at Halfords
This price has fallen again for Cyber Monday and at under £200 it's likely one that will receive plenty of interest - while stocks last!
Whilst it has been superseded in Garmin's Edge hierarchy the 530 still has plenty to offer. The mapping facility is easy to use and follow, while decent battery life makes it a solid option for adventure cyclists - both features which become even more attractive given this level of discount.
Garmin Edge 830: was £349.99, now £330 at Wiggle
While there's now an Edge 840 model, the 830 still delivers enough features to make it competitive. The 2.6" screen size is ideal for those who don't want a larger unit - and it's still a touchscreen. Well suited for both training and navigation it includes the much-loved ClimbPro feature and promises a battery life of up to 20 hours in GPS mode.
